Community Outreach

Local non-profit organizations have partnered to provide pet owner support services in Barrow County.

Our goal is to promote responsible pet ownership and keep pets safe at home with their families.

Here is what we have accomplished:

• 1000+ pounds free dry dog and cat food distributed each month

• 125+ families supplied each month

• 330 dogs and cats fixed from March 2021 through March 2023

Food donations can be dropped off at The Paws Resort in Winder and at our clinic on Woodlawn Avenue. 

Your contributions will be distributed one morning per month at a pet food pantry site in Barrow County.

Due to a lack of resources for pet food, we will be holding the food pantry EVERY OTHER MONTH going forward. We need the extra time to gather enough dog and cat food to meet the needs of our constantly expanding list of pets and families we support. 

We will still meet in the back parking lot of Winder First United Methodist Church, from 7/7:30a - 8:30ish. When our line ends, we pack up and go home, so please come early.

We can always use more volunteers!
