We want to thank everyone who has supported us in the Barrow County area since we moved our clinic to Winder in 2011!
We have been struggling to keep prices affordable due to the rising cost of expenses and the continual problem of clients not keeping their appointments. We have decided the clinic in Winder will have its last surgery day on December 11th.
We will keep the website and our Facebook Page active to share information on special events such as vaccine clinics, pet food pantry distributions, and free or significantly reduced spay/neuter events.
We will also provide more education on Trap-Neuter-Return and local resources for colony caretakers. The cat food program for existing community cat clients will continue if we can raise funds to support it. Typically, we spend about $400 per month to make sure these cats are fed. All the colonies that we support are already spay/neutered.
